Organization
The Indian Professionals Association is a legal entity governed by its Statutes that were prepared in 1998. The association was registered with the ’Prefecture de Paris’ and the registration was published in the ’Journal Officiel’ No d'annonce : 1628, No de parution : 19980043, Dated 24/10/1998.
However to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning, Rules & Regulations (R&R) were developed in detail though respecting the overall philosophy of the Statutes. The R & R can be updated when specifically needed but must be approved by the managing Council and/ or General Assembly before being implemented.The R & R describe in detail particular the goals of the association, the membership procedure, roles of the Working Committee members and other issues related to the day to day working of the association.
The Managing Council is elected and the President nominates the working committee. The Working Committee positions are the President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Convenor, Admissions coordinator, Conferences coordinator and any other specific position that the President may like to create to meet a specific requirement.
